Throughout the oil and gas industry, there stems the need for accurate and economical measurement of process fluids and natural gas. Orifice Meters, sometimes referred to as Orifice Fittings, satisfy most flow measurement applications and are the most common flow meter type in use today. The Orifice Meter, sometimes also called ahead loss flow meter, is chosen most frequently because of its long history of use in many applications, versatility,and low cost, as compared to other available flow meter types.
