The American School of Gas Measurement Technology (ASGMT) has been at the forefront of flow measurement training since its inception in 1966. Over the years, ASGMT has evolved to encompass comprehensive training in measuring fluids in both gas and liquid states. With a commitment to excellence, ASGMT now offers an extensive curriculum comprising over 120 lecture classes, complemented by 54 Hands-On Product Training sessions led by industry experts, and sessions providing a brief overview of new products.

2025 ASGMT General Committee Chairman The American School of Gas Measurement Technology is pleased to announce Don Sextro as General Chairman for the 2025 school. Mr. Sextro is responsible for supporting natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude oil measurement for Targa from the corporate headquarters in Houston. Since beginning his career in 1979 with Cities Service in Tulsa, he has worked in measurement, project management, operations and in engineering positions for Targa and its predecessor companies.
