The members of the ASGMT family wish to celebrate and honor the life of our 2018 Board of Directors President Dee Hummel. Dee was Senior Director of Measurement at Targa Resources in the Tulsa, Oklahoma office and served on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Measurement Society.
He departed this life September 2, 2018 at his home at the age of 64 years, 6 months and 11 days due to a heart attack.
Dee always enjoyed working on the farm, whether he was on the tractor, with cattle, horses, or in the hayfield. Another hobby he enjoyed was working on old cars and he was always ready to spend time with friends and family. Dee loved and was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Dee was always a role model in both his work ethic and integrity. We will miss his calming demeanor, wry humor, and leadership in our industry. His passing is a devastating loss to all who were blessed to have known him.
He is survived by his wife Charlsie, son Kenneth Burton, daughter Jennifer Isaacs and her husband Greg Isaacs, three grandchildren, Jeff Burton and wife Casey Burton, Haylee Burton, and Ali Isaacs, and three great grandchildren, Reagan, Audrey, and Paxton Burton.
