The American School of Gas Measurement Technology (ASGMT) has been at the forefront of flow measurement training since its inception in 1966. Over the years, ASGMT has evolved to encompass comprehensive training in measuring fluids in both gas and liquid states. With a commitment to excellence, ASGMT now offers an extensive curriculum comprising over 120 lecture classes, complemented by 54 Hands-On Product Training sessions led by industry experts, and sessions providing a brief overview of new products.

Marketing

The Marketing Subcommittee Chair is responsible for managing all promotion and communication efforts, including Shirts for the BOD & Committee. This includes email, blogs, social posts and all other media exposure. The purpose of these efforts is to maximize participation in the School.
The Marketing Subcommittee Chair work closely with the Website Chair to coordinate use of the Web App used during the school (currently Whova), and with the General Chair to develop appropriate communications. The Marketing Chair oversees the contractors used to support marketing material development, communication, email blasts, social posts and the School Web app.
The BOD President should sign all contracts.

Update Constant Contact

Compare the final registration list of attendees (students, day passes and Exhibitors) and load any new or updated into Constant Contact to capture all contact email addresses. Delete bounced email addresses from CC. Re-label the contact list for the current school year. Remember the contact limit relative to the Constant Contact plan & billing.

Internal Contact Cleanup

Work with Secretary and Website Chair to update and cleanup email addresses on ASGMT.COM, Constant Contact, other as applicable.

Email Blast (Jun)

Vice Chair – email, news article and social media post per cadence set in the Marketing Plan, such as once or twice per month.

Send Welcome Email to Committee

Look for email from General Chair with Marketing Committee member list. Email each subcommittee member a Welcome Letter, Timeline, Reference Guide and Anti-trust Policy. Email Time Table, By-Laws, and Reference Guide to Vice Chairs and General Marketing Committee members. Consider roles for each member.

Obtain Shirt Sizes

Members – Shirt size/quantity information from committee members with deadline by early May.

Prepare & Distribute Activity Report (May)

Chair – Prepare and distribute a report of marketing activity and results including; Emails blasts, total sends, opens and click throughs LinkedIn Posts – Impressions, Views, Likes, Comments, Shares Distribute to Registration, Exhibits, General Chair and BOD President.

Email Blast (May)

Vice Chair – email, news article and social media post per cadence set in the Marketing Plan, such as once or twice per month.

Social Media Posts (May)

Chair – Update/Post on Facebook and LinkedIn page with School details (agenda, LMF/GMF etc), Podcast post, should be ongoing
